Dr. Courtney Lavigne, AAACD, FAGD

Dr. Courtney Lavigne practiced restorative dentistry for a decade before selling her fee-for-service cosmetic practice to specialize in orthodontics. She earned her doctorate at the University of Connecticut, graduating at the top of her class and being inducted to Omicron Kappa Upsilon national honor society. During her ten years of practice she became the youngest female accredited through the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She also gained fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.

Dr. Lavigne has lectured nationally on clinical esthetic techniques, practice profitability, and patient communication. In 2014, she started a fee-for-service practice from scratch in Wayland, MA where she gained a reputation for esthetics and patient-centric care. She then went on to orthodontic residency at Tufts University.

Today she strives to use her distinctive experience in the two disciplines of restorative dentistry and orthodontics to improve interdisciplinary workflow and communication between the restorative quarterback and the specialists on the treatment team.

Dr. Courtney Lavigne is a native of Rhode Island and a graduate of LaSalle Academy in Providence. In her spare time she can be found with her husband Chris, their daughter Yvette, and their miniature labradoodle, Lenny. She is an avid snow-skier and water-skier, a mid-century modern furniture buff, and an interior design enthusiast. She’ll also talk your ear off about Jackson Hole or Maui, her two favorite places to visit.
